George Carlin, R.I.P.

The Brainy Gamer has a fine tribute to George Carlin entitled "So Long, Asshole".

I'm one of those rare individuals that has become more liberal as he has grown older, and so I wasn't historically a fan of Carlin. I found him too preachy-leftie. But now being a bit older and wiser, I found that when I watched Carlin on HBO here and there, he made a lot of fucking sense. He spoke truth to power, and that is what always makes the great ones great. Carlin was an inimitable comic. Rest in peace, brother.
